The electrolysis corrosion pictured below was caused by electrolysis. All electrolysis is eliminated with the SeaBis System.

However the same effect has many causes.
Where electrolysis exhibits a gray coating, then electrolysis is flowing in two directions, at different times.
The SeaBis System makes all wet fittings, the hull / engine etc. electrically open circuit.

out of the socket.

Engine design.
Medium to large professional fishing vessels usually have fully electrically isolated (two wire) engines. Unfortunately domestic vessels do not. As the Owner used the engine less than 200 hours per year the SeaBis System "Easier Method" can be used.

The pitted area around the left anode mount is typical old electrolysis. It has been coated with epoxy two pack. The gray areas at the bottom right are new electrolysis where the two pack epoxy paint has been destroyed by electrolysis causing electrolysis to the underlying metal
