The electrolysis corrosion pictured below was caused by electrolysis. All electrolysis is eliminated with the SeaBis System.

However the same effect has many causes.
Where electrolysis exhibits a gray coating, then electrolysis is flowing in two directions, at different times.
The SeaBis System makes all wet fittings, the hull / engine etc. electrically open circuit.

Winch. Note the paint below the anode has been removed by electrolysis. The anode was prevented from producing any protection by the electrolysis.
The winch was mounted on a wooden base to a metal deck. Whenever moisture entered the wood (most of the time) it become conductive. Resolved by coating the wood with two pack epoxy paint. Non porous paint, while new and continous, is an insulator. The base will be replaced with very tough plastic at next refit.
