This page is for Electricians and Surveyors.

Important: There are too many instances of Electricians and Surveyors loosing all they own because they failed to check for electrolysis and use a Report. Report Template available at the bottom of this page:

Full circuit diagrams with explanations are provided with the SeaBis System. In the unlikely event you have any difficulties then contact us: seabis@bigpond.com

Work Report template with legal Terms and Conditions links at the bottom of this page...

.

The documents are in Word format so you can change the company name to yours. Or we can do it for you.

The resulting Report is completed with the job and signed by the client.

It has 4 pages. Pages 1 and 2 are without Terms and Conditions. Page 1, top original copy is for you. Page 2 is sent with your invoice so your client can identify your job. Pages 3 and 4 are provided to the Client at time of signing.

Save yourself from becoming a statistic by using SeaBis and recording the result on the Report.

All of these are hard indisputable facts.
To read hard technical proof why a mutimeters cannot tell you the truth click here..

1. Many legal precedents and successful legal actions, based on documentation and experience since the early 1900s firmly establish that electrolysis causes corrosion. This is proven fact.

2. I was signing a log, every day, when I first went to sea in 1965: We called DC connections to wet metal Earths. After testing with a test lamp and other equipment, I signed submarine Clear of Earths. I used fixed and portable test lamps, mutimeters and meggars (test equipment) to prove insulation was good.

3. Electrical isolation to stop electrolysis is normal practice by larger professional fishing vessels, naval vessels, tugs and wet oil rigs all using fully isolated engines and cabin equipment. They are manufactured as standard with battery positive and negative isolated from the body of the equipment.

4. A test lamp, portable or those in electrical Distribution Boxes, at 24 volts DC draws 1 amp. Electrolysis easily visible in 3 months will occur at a level where the lamp luminance is too dim to be seen, even in the dark. See photographic proof at: Proof.

So it is not surprising that every time we dry docked the submarine we found more electrolysis corrosion, despite the test lamps and equipment assurances there was no electrolysis.

That is why I developed SeaBis. When SeaBis indicates Normal - protection is continuous.
